609 - Humming bird and little girl was created during my April art prompt challenge where I created a new artwork each day in response to a single word. The prompt for this work was ‘shrink potion’ which I chose because I often imagine what it would be like to be as small as some of the other creatures we live with. In this work I imagined being small enough to fit inside a bunny burrow where we could watch the other creatures scurry about living their best lives. Smell the moist earth, see mushrooms and flowers in detail, drop of water in my hands.
