608 - Girl in a tree was created in response to my April art prompts challenge where each day of the month I created a new artwork. The prompt for this work was Happy and calm. Though I've not read a book in a tree since I was a kid, I often imagine how it would feel to be up there. To not worry about falling or the branch snapping under my weight or whether people could see up my skirt or ants biting me.
